ALLIANCE, Ohio
Authorities in Alliance were forced to use their Taser on a knife-wielding man who was threatening drivers and jumping in front of moving vehicles, Fox 8 News reports.

According to the Alliance Police Department's Facebook page, William A. Moore was arrested following the disturbance in the 2400 block of South Union Avenue.

Carrying a pocket knife, Moore was reported to be walking down the street screaming threats at motorists and jumping in front of and on vehicles.

On numerous occasions, police ordered Moore to drop the knife, but he refused every time. He told the officers to shoot him before cutting the palm of his left hand. That's when an officer deployed his Taser on Moore, causing him to fall to the ground and drop the knife.
